Show HN: Hardcount – Self-hosted usage billing for AI products

Hardcount is an MIT-licensed, self-hosted usage billing tool for AI products that prices tokens per model and token type, sells prepaid credit, and shows per-customer and per-model margin, with billing data kept in your own Postgres while Stripe charges cards. It is a pre-1.0 project with one maintainer, Stripe-only payments, no SDKs, and no production users yet, and it targets volumes up to about a million usage events a day. A Docker Compose quickstart runs it in test mode with test clocks to preview invoices before real customers are billed.
