Crypto and AI companies spent $250 million in the midterms, but of the twelve competitive races called so far, the side backed by crypto and AI super PACs lost nine, spending $74.7 million on losing sides versus $28.3 million on winning ones. Losses included the Ohio Senate race, where Democrat Sherrod Brown overcame more than $64 million in crypto money, and South Carolina's Senate race, where Annie Andrews beat Darline Graham despite nearly $4.1 million in AI money. In the 40 safe races with crypto or AI PAC spending called so far, their picks went 40 for 40.
