Google's Gemini Omni 1.2 Flash stretches AI video clips to 15 seconds and cuts pricing by 30 percent
Google DeepMind is making Gemini Omni 1.2 Flash generally available, with clips up to 15 seconds (up from 10), conversational editing, and pricing 30 percent lower at $0.07 per second for 720p video. It rolls out through the Gemini API, Google AI Studio, Google Cloud Console, Flow, Google Vids, the Gemini app for Google AI Ultra subscribers, and Google Ads, with every generated video carrying an imperceptible SynthID watermark. Google also promises better reference adherence for characters, products, and audio cues, improved visual consistency, clearer lip-sync with multi-speaker distinction, and smoother complex camera moves.
