Claude AI can plug directly into your bank account

Anthropic is launching a Personal Finance feature that connects Claude to bank and card accounts through the Plaid platform, letting users ask questions like where their money went this month and get spending breakdowns by category. Access is read-only, Claude cannot move, manage, or invest money, and it does not see banking passwords, though it can view account names, balances, credit limits, and up to two years of transaction history. The beta rolls out this week to Claude Pro, Max, and Ultra subscribers in the US, following a similar ChatGPT feature introduced in May.
