Uber only fulfilled 4 rides from AI agents last quarter

Uber executives said on an earnings call that third-party AI agents arranged only four rides in the third quarter of 2026, while about 500 Uber Eats orders were fulfilled by AI agents during the week of Halloween out of 320 million total rides and deliveries. It was the first time Uber disclosed such figures, and CEO Dara Khosrowshahi said it is "very, very early" and that Uber will work with third parties while expecting customers to prefer its own app.
