OpenRing – Open-source, self-hosted voice AI agent platform (Vapi alternative)

OpenRing is a self-hosted voice AI agent platform with a Vapi-compatible API that charges no platform fee, letting users pay providers like Deepgram, OpenAI and Twilio directly with their own keys. It runs via `npx openring` with a dashboard at localhost:8000, supports a free local stack (Whisper, Ollama, Kokoro), and can import assistants, tools and numbers from a Vapi account. Features include phone calls via Twilio and SIP trunks, campaigns, knowledge base, squads and tools, with some capabilities marked beta.
