Amazon will let you text Alexa your shopping list

Amazon is adding a texting feature to Alexa for Shopping that lets customers describe products or send a photo, receive matching recommendations from Amazon listings, and have Alexa place the order on their behalf. The contact appears as "Amazon Alexa" and can handle requests like weekly groceries, gift ideas, and price-drop alerts, remembering personal preferences over time. It is rolling out to a small group of US customers today, with a wider rollout to "millions more customers" in the coming weeks.
