Deterministic security and privacy checks for code from AI assistants

Secure & Private by Design is an open-source tool that runs deterministic, rule-based security and privacy checks on code written by AI assistants, enforcing the same findings across Claude, GPT, Gemini and human CLI users via editor hooks, git hooks, CI and an MCP server. It detects secrets, Indian PII (Aadhaar, PAN, mobile, email), PHI schema fields, unclassified personal data and missing audit or AI decision logging, and deploys editable scaffolds for consent, data rights, retention, breach notification, RBAC and audit logging. Everything runs locally with no telemetry, and the project states it is not a compliance certification or legal advice.
