Show HN: Recto: A desktop app where you can design with AI, edit with your mouse

Recto is a desktop app that gives coding agents such as Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and OpenCode a visual canvas for building UI, motion, SVG and 3D designs, running locally without MCP or API configuration. Designs are built on real HTML and CSS, so users can drag, resize, style and animate elements directly, or select an element and reprompt the agent, with comments pinnable to any part of the design. It is free and available for Mac, Windows and Linux, supports importing designs from websites, and lists Figma import as coming soon.
