Honeycomb Team Agents: AI SRE Done Right

Honeycomb is previewing Team Agents, AI SRE agents that run in the background on user-defined goals—such as verifying releases, flagging Lambda spend, improving instrumentation, investigating alerts, and maintaining docs—and report findings with linked evidence. The agents are built on Honeycomb's high-cardinality traces, use MCP connectors for additional context, and offer per-goal autonomy levels from Observe to Operate with per-action permissions. Personal agents will be included on every Honeycomb plan, while Team Agents will be available with Honeycomb Intelligence on Pro and Enterprise plans, priced by hours of agent work, and generally available at AWS re:Invent on December 1.
