GoLand's Profiler Now Works with AI Agents – The JetBrains Blog

GoLand 2026.3 lets AI agents use its built-in profiler through a bundled goland-profiler skill and MCP tools, so an agent can launch the app with the profiler, pick and capture suitable profiles, read the results, and point to the responsible code. The workflow is tested with Claude Code, Codex, and Junie, and captured profiles appear in the profiler session and Recent profiles in the Go Optimization tool window. Limitations include that the profiler cannot attach to an already running process and short-lived programs leave too little time to capture useful data.
