Maho 26.11 released: AI assistant added to the backend
Understand this story
Open-source e-commerce platform Maho has released version 26.11.0, adding an AI assistant to every backend page. Maho says the assistant's write operations require confirmation of before and after values and can be undone; users can enable it in the backend under System > Configuration > AI > Assistant. The release also adds a drag-and-drop page builder, media storage supporting S3, Google Cloud Storage and Azure, a redesigned backend, and underlying upgrades based on PHP 8.5, Symfony 8.1 and API Platform 5.0. PHP must first be upgraded to 8.5.1 or higher before upgrading. Maho says the service is already available on Google Play and will launch on the App Store; each Maho instance (including all its websites and store views) costs €9.99 per month.
