Hideo Kojima says AI lacks what makes the creative process fun

In an interview with Game*Spark, Hideo Kojima said AI has made game development more efficient and deadlines easier to meet, but he worries that unrestricted AI could eventually take a key role in creative fields and remove the enjoyment of the creative process. He compared creation to model kits, jigsaw puzzles and LEGOs, where the building process is the fun, and said he doesn't want a future where that trial-and-error is lost, though he expects things will be fine for the next five to ten years.
